Send the dew of blessing
the dew of grace…

The Cape’s summer warmth would embrace Samantha & Matthew on their wedding day, like no other… Samantha is a Jewelry Designer, and one of the sweetest people I have met. We were referred by our friend Amanda Considine from Shoreshotz Photography who we adore! Samantha Faye Jewelry (including the Rose Gold Anchor I wear!) can be found at many Cape Cod Boutiques like Ocean’s Edge She Sells in Brewster.
Matthew is a Physician at Children’s Hospital specializing in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. They live in Boston, and have both have spent summers on Cape Cod all of their lives, so they have a comfort of the sand in their toes, and a laid back nature that hits them the moment they cross the bridge. Everything was planned perfectly, and there was plenty of time to enjoy the day as it unfolded… Matthew rehearsed his vows at the Seacrest Hotel where he got ready with his best friends and a bottle of Knob Creek Bourbon – a nod to their favorite t.v series, Breaking Bad (which is one of Joe’s favorites as well!) Samantha spent the morning at her family home in New Seabury, where her grandmother peaked from the staircase, her mom looked on with a beautiful smile that never faded, her hair stylist had known her since she was born fashioned the perfect low side chignon, and her girls were family too… so everyone in the room had a history and a quiet understanding that was just lovely. Samantha’s Jimmy Choo shoes were something borrrowed from her mother, and her amazing rings, chosen by Matthew with the help of Samantha’s family, of course who own the famous Freedman’s Jewelers in Boston where incredibly subtle & timeless. But her Vera Wang dress…. was AHHmazing and artistic and beyond gorgeous – really.
Samantha & Matthew chose to have a quiet first look down at a pond near her grandmothers summer home… The nerves were still there, and as they took time to breathe – the main event would come soon enough. We then took photographs in the Popponessett Marketplace at New Seabury which was fun. It was fabulous with all of the oo’s and ahh’s as shop owners came out to congratulate them!
Once at The Popponeset Inn at New Seabury, the signing if the Katubah would be a private ceremony, and then they would take their places! The smile on Mathhew’s face as Samantha was walked by both her mother & father down the red rose petal isle was electric. and as the Chuppa enclosed both of their families within… sigh. The cup they would all share was Samantha’s parents at their wedding which again held history and meaning… The sweetly protective, encouraging nature of their family Rabbi, grandparents, parents, siblings, and close knit community was just beautiful and every detail, including the sunset could not have been more perfect…
Oh the reception with it’s subtle gold accents, and cream florals… The stunning Bouquets, Centerpieces and Rose Petal Isle by All about Flowers for Weddings wove the decor together. Lanterns hung from the extremely high ceilings, and lighting set the mood for the OUTRAGEOUSly awesome Band, Clockwork … Oh and that Wedding Cake (which the adorable flower girls Devon & Sophia were eyeing) had the most delicate, tiny sugar petals and smelled just amazing by Delicious Desserts !!!
