Yes – Another Kristin & Joe! .. and WOW we’re we lucky too be able to capture this amazing wedding! Joe and Kristin both laugh and smile ALL of the time… It was just contagious! They are adventurous, funny and completely in love… They clearly have SO much fun together & all of their friends have SO much energy and were a blast to be around! Kristin is a nurse, so she is laid back but planned everything to a T for a completely thought out, beautiful day. Kristin spent a little time with her bridesmaids as they had hair & makeup in her family home, then she was left to get dressed with her father who is just a love & her sweet mom. They decided to do their first look at the private beach club where Kristin had spent her summers… Since they both live in Boston, but she grew up in Falmouth, it was important to capture the ocean and the places so meaningful to them… It was an absolutely glorious day, with bright sunshine and a heat that called you to the water. We found overhangs to escape the heat, and they were both so game for anything looking completely cool, as sweat poured off of us! When it came time to get to the ceremony, the excitement was palpable. They chose the fabulous Casual Gourmet as their caterer at the Highfield Hall, which is such a wonderful property! The outdoor ceremony was under a gorgeous arbor that Kristin’s brother handmade, and in the alcove under the trees; the greenery gave a woodsy, cozy feeling that pulled you into the ceremony… SO unique on the Cape! The heartfelt speeches and beautiful words were so moving! Even the adorable junior bridesmaid was wiping away tears! Harp played by Katie Lynch Koglin lent an elegance to the ceremony, and cocktail hour… A bar on the back porch was a lovely place to find shade and enjoy passed Hors D’oeuvres. A tent by Party Cape Cod was exclusively for dinner and toasts, aqua napkins lined long tables which were all named after their favorite ski slopes. Tall vases filled with white hydrangeas and Calla lilys which matched the bridesmaids bouquets & the groomsmen’s boutonnière’s… Kristin’s bouquet and Joe’s boutonnière set them apart in Calla’s in Red… All about flowers always amazes us at every wedding! Inside Highfield Hall, one room held cake pops and treats… the baby grand piano sat next to the second bar, and upstairs, their were photographs, and the groomsmen had a surprise taking off their shirts to signal that the party was starting! The large room was packed the rest of the night by the DJ’s and some serious dancing… Everything about this day was truly vibrant – just like the beautiful Kristin & Joe….sigh*
